  • Account data: Nickname, email address (optional), and hashed password when you secure your account.
  • Trading data: Trades, journal entries, daily reviews, and analytics you log in the journal.
  • Community data: Posts, reactions, challenge participation, and accountability partner connections.
  • Usage data: Page views, session tokens, and feature interactions for product improvement.
  • Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Providing and improving the trading journal, calculators, and analytics tools.
  • Sending email digests and streak reminders (only if you opt in by providing your email).
  • Displaying anonymous community content — your real identity is never exposed.
  • Aggregated, anonymized statistics for social proof (e.g., total trades logged).

3. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Session tokens are generated per-device. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted and encrypted at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloud storage: Chart screenshots are stored securely in cloud storage with access controls.
  • AI services: Trade analysis uses AI models. Your trade data may be processed by the AI provider but is not stored or used for training.

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Export your data at any time via the CSV export feature in the journal.
  • Delete your account by contacting us — we will remove all associated data.
  • Opt out of emails by unchecking the weekly digest option or contacting us.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage to store your session token for a seamless experience. We use minimal analytics cookies for page view tracking. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

7. Community & Anonymous Content

Community posts are anonymous by default. Your nickname is visible only to your accountability partner. We do not display real names, email addresses, or financial details publicly.

8. Changes

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
